Dr Dmitri Kulak is a leading orthopaedist in Estonia who has been working in the field of traumatology and orthopaedics for more than 10 years, performing on average more than 300 surgeries a year.​

Since 2008, he has been working as an orthopaedic surgeon. Dr Kulak specialises in both arthroscopic and endoprosthetic surgeries and has a special interest in ankle and foot traumas, ankle pathologies, toe and foot deformities and arthritis of the knee and the hip. Several years of academic and practical experience has made him an internationally recognised surgeon. Dr Kulak gives lectures to his colleagues on orthopaedics both at Estonian and international professional refresher training events. He has made presentations in related professional congresses. Dr Kulak is the chief orthopaedist at East Tallinn Central Hospital and a member of the board of the Estonian AO Alumni Society, the European Foot and Ankle Society and the Estonian Orthopaedic Society.
